Responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve company sales targets and objectives.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the almond industry, knowledge of dry nuts including procurement, sales, market trends, and financial management.Duties and responsibilitiesBusiness Strategy & P&L Management: Develop and execute strategies to achieve profitability, optimize revenue streams, and manage costs effectively.Sales Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets, and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and oversee the management of key accounts.Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to stay ahead in the market.Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including performance metrics, sales forecasts, and market insights, to senior management.Training and Development: Provide training and support to sales team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.Sales & Market Expansion: Identify growth opportunities, expand distribution channels, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.Procurement & Supply Chain: Oversee sourcing strategies, maintain quality standards, and ensure a seamless supply chain.Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business success.Stakeholder Management: Engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to foster strong partnerships and ensure business alignment.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, mitigate risks, and maintain high ethical standarQualificationsQualifications include:Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful sales teams.Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
