Role & responsibilities Prepare and review NPD requests and new project initiation requests. Knowledge of pipe fitting products (Ductile iron) Execute and lead the project with deadlines. Ensuring robust processes to manage the projects. Development of packaging requirements as per customer requirements. Prepare project approval documents and get approvals from USA for new project samples. Tracking of existing projects. Should have knowledge of UL & FM and maintain approvals. Responsible for shipment for overseas. Special approval for expedited shipment of parts & engineering approvals and follow ups. Overall responsible for project closure process. Highlight risks and develop mitigations of projects risks. Review machining drawing for machining in workshop. Control Issue/Reissue/Revision of the customers drawings. Develop and review Bill of Material for assemblies and sub-assemblies. Design (R&D) verification in case of new product development. Perform market research to understand market requirements and initiate innovative product new development. Analyse new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionality for new product development. Develop new concepts for development of new products and maintain technical compatibility to develop concepts into real products. Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates. Document records for all project proposal and associated activities. Visit the vendors or foundries as per requirements. Responsible for releasing purchasing specifications, packaging instructions, assembly procedures, ECN etc. Provide trainings to the team members whenever required or as per annual training plan after the consultation with HR Department. Should have knowledge of AutoCAD. Overall performance of NPD Department along with team members. Preferred candidate profile Should execute and lead the project with deadlines, ensuring robust processes to manage the projects. Should have knowledge of drawing and design of product.
