Role & responsibilities Cost Accounting: Manage and oversee the cost accounting function, including product costing, standard cost updates, and variance analysis. Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor cost drivers to optimize plant efficiency. Ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation. Inventory Management: Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure accurate and timely inventory records. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances. Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to ensure accurate valuation. Accounts Payable/Receivable & Payroll: Financial Systems & Software: Ensure the efficient operation of financial and accounting systems within the plant. Provide training and support to plant personnel on financial tools and systems. Work with IT and corporate finance to improve systems and processes where necessary. Preferred candidate profile achelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred). 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Perks and benefits
