Job Description –Officer R &D- Refractory Coating’s Key Accountabilities & Outcomes Location: Gargi Huttenes Albertus Pvt Ltd, R&D Lab at Khopoli. No. of Vacancies: 1 Qualifications: first class B.Tech./M. Tech /PhD.Tech.in CERAMICS, refractory from Institute of repute. Experience: Min 3 - 7 years in Industry. Position reports to Manager – R&D / Team Leader. Compensation: As per the qualifications and experience. Age: 25 – 35 years Experience In Min 3-7 yrs. experience in R&D of (CERAMICs / REFRACTORY / Minerals / Sanitaryware industry) Experience in Minerals, ceramics and refractory development. Able to develop the refractory coating’s products as per customer’s requirements Must be able to work independently on a given project task. Must have strong knowledge on different minerals properties & able to drive the project. Ability to adopt new techniques. Strong soft skills to analyse & present the R&D data. Strong skill in searching the technical data for the project. Must be familiar with the basic instruments for R&D batch testing. Must be able to scale up the successful project from lab to pilot & pilot to plant scale. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Coordination skills with depts for equipment calibration, new RM sourcing& performance tests in the QC lab. Able to test and analyse characterization of products using appropriate analytical techniques & instruments. (Such as XRF, XRD, PSA…). Qualification B. Tech/M. Tech / Ph.D. in paincoating, refractory, ceramic industry with first class and from Institute of repute. Experience Experience of 3-7 years’ comparable work experience in developed R&D lab. Preference industries – CERAMICS, REFRACTORY, Sanitaryware… Technical/Functional Expertise Expertise in Ceramics, Refractories, Sanitaryware used in paints/coatings. Advanced Ceramic / Refractory testing procedures/RM testing/new product trials, lab trials.
