Job Description: Head of Operations Position: Head of Operations General Manager Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee all operational departments, including planning, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, assembly, and dispatch. Ensure seamless coordination across functions to achieve on-time order delivery and maintain high product quality standards. Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute operational strategies to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity. Implement best practices in production planning and supply chain management using ERP systems. Oversee development of weekly and monthly operations plan and track execution across all departments. Cost Management: Identify opportunities to lower product costs without compromising quality. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track cost efficiency and operational performance. Resource Management: Manage a team of approximately 10 employees and 80 workers across three manufacturing plants. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork. Purchasing & Supply Chain: Lead procurement activities for metal and elastomer raw materials, ensuring cost-effective and timely supply. Develop strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms to optimize the supply chain. Production & Quality Oversight: Supervise CNC/VMC-based machine shop operations, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery schedules. Collaborate with the quality department to uphold and enhance product quality standards. Budgeting & Financial Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor operational budgets to align with corporate financial goals. Implement cost control measures and regularly review budget performance to identify improvement areas. Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies and processes. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 15 to 20 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven expertise in managing CNC/VMC-based machine shops and ERP-driven production environments. Strong knowledge of metal and elastomer raw material procurement. Demonstrated success in cost management, budgeting, and supply chain optimization. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
