Job Description

To co-ordinate the day-to-day operational activities of voyage and time-chartered tankers. Summary of responsibilities: Ensure compliance with agreed charterparty terms. Oversee agency appointments. Communicate with charterers, brokers, agents and vessels regarding voyage orders and vessel itineraries. Handle letters of indemnities Monitor vessel movement and voyage performances. Review vessel stowage and tank cleaning plans Support Chartering desk in pre fixture documentation Liaise with owners regarding oil major approvals. Support claims team with claims related queries Experience & Skills Required Shore based shipping operator/ Ops Executive experience (sailing experience is not mandatory) Sound commercial awareness Junior officers without operations experience also can apply. Applicants with minimum 1 year of experience in tanker vessel operations will have an added advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
