Job Description

The Operations Executive in a logistics company is responsible for overseeing, managing, and optimizing the logistics operations to ensure the efficient and effective transportation and distribution of goods. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and continuously improving operational processes to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to final delivery. Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and mitigate risks. Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure seamless operations. Develop and execute comprehensive logistics plans, including transportation routes, schedules, and resource allocation. Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation carriers to secure cost-effective and reliable services. Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Resolve transportation-related issues and problems. Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory management and storage. Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and implement inventory control strategies. Supervise and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance customer satisfaction.
