Job Title: OPS Executive Fleet Operations & Recovery Location: Across India (with frequent on-ground visits across the region) Department: Operations – Fleet & Recovery Work Type: Full-time Role Overview: As an OPS Executive – Fleet Operations & Recovery , you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth vehicle operations by managing garage coordination, vehicle recovery, legal support, and IoT system handling. This role requires strong coordination, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration with central and regional teams to maintain fleet health, manage incidents, and optimize operational processes . Key Responsibilities: Non-Returned Vehicle Tracking & Recovery Track cases where vehicles are not returned after the booking end due to accidents, breakdowns, abandonment, or legal disputes . Promptly alert and escalate such cases to central operations and legal teams , enabling faster recovery action. Work closely with regional and ground teams to facilitate the vehicle recovery process . Garage Visits & Repair Audits Conduct regular on-site inspections at partner garages to audit ongoing repair cases. Compare actual repairs vs. estimates vs. required repairs , identifying any quality, cost, or turnaround time (TAT) deviations . Coordinate with garage managers to resolve deviations and ensure adherence to quality and cost standards . Legal Coordination & Support Coordinate with central legal teams and regional authorities (police, courts, MVD, etc.) to facilitate car releases from legal custody. Provide legal clarifications to authorities, as required, ensuring smooth handling of disputes, seizures, or legal escalations. Offer on-ground legal assistance in collaboration with the company’s legal team when needed. Cross-Functional Support Work as a liaison between regional ops, central teams, legal teams, garages, and authorities , ensuring seamless communication and action flow . Ensure all processes maintain compliance with internal policies , legal frameworks, and operational best practices. Host & Guest Experience Management Ensure all direct and indirect interactions with Hosts and Guests uphold a high standard of service, particularly in damage, repair, or recovery cases . Process Improvement Initiatives Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and TAT improvement in accident, repair, and recovery processes. Drive continuous improvement through process audits, data analysis, and ground-level feedback Skills & Qualifications: Graduate (any stream) – preference for candidates with operations, logistics, or fleet management experience. 2-4 years of experience in fleet management, car rental, logistics operations, or vehicle recovery. Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes, accident handling, and legal procedures related to vehicle seizure/release. Good communication in One Regional Language, Hindi, and English – ability to handle local authorities and external stakeholders confidently. Excellent coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills. Hands-on with Excel/Google Sheets and capable of maintaining MIS trackers and reports . Ability to travel locally for garage visits, vehicle recovery, and legal coordination. Process-oriented mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach . Working Hours: Wednesday to Monday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM flexibility needed for emergency recoveries or escalations.
