Our café, brew school, and retail platforms (including the Brewshop) aim to deliver excellence in every cup and every customer interaction. ⸻ Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Operations Manager with a strong hospitality background to oversee the daily operations of our café and associated verticals. This person will be responsible for maintaining service excellence, team efficiency, and smooth functioning across coffee, food, retail, and workshop activities. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Daily Operations Management: Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house activities to ensure seamless day-to-day functioning. • Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate baristas, kitchen staff, and service team to uphold brand standards. • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional service and hospitality is delivered consistently. Resolve customer queries and feedback effectively. • Inventory & Procurement: Manage stock levels for coffee, kitchen supplies, and retail inventory. Coordinate with vendors and streamline procurement processes. • Sales & Revenue Tracking: Monitor daily sales, set weekly/monthly targets, and work with the leadership team to achieve business goals. • SOP Implementation: Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for service, cleanliness, and quality control. • Event & Workshop Coordination: Support coffee workshops, tastings, bar takeovers, and other events hosted at the café. • Brand Alignment: Ensure the café reflects the values and vision of 729 Grams Coffee at all customer touchpoints. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food regulations. ⸻ Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field. • 3–6 years experience in managing café, restaurant, or hotel operations. • Deep understanding of hospitality and customer service excellence. • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills. • Familiarity with specialty coffee (preferred but not mandatory). • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure. • Tech-savvy with experience in POS systems, inventory software, and reporting tools. ⸻ Why Join Us? • Be part of one of India’s most exciting specialty coffee movements. • Work with passionate professionals in a creative and quality-driven environment. • Opportunities to grow within a rapidly expanding coffee and food brand. • Hands-on experience with international coffee practices, workshops, and consulting projects.
