Hi, We have an opening for one of our reputed client. Location: Pune(WFH) Note: Pls apply only if you are located nearby Pune. Also if you are involved in buying heavy fabrication . JOB STATEMENT This position is responsible for Sourcing & Supply of Parts/Assemblies from India to globally. Category Metal fabricated & machined Parts. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES New supplier sourcing & implementations and manage those implemented suppliers & their contracts. Maintain & improve supplier relationships and be responsible for suppliers quality & delivery performance. Study engineering documents, prepare RFQ, invite suppliers, handle supplier queries & arrange Offers. Evaluate offers (cost breakup) and negotiate with suppliers. Support suppliers in product development and process optimisation. Solve technical queries and deviations. Effective follow-up of open POs and ensure high OTD. RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY Report to DGM, Sourcing (India), Coordination with global procurement teams, Quality organizations and factory teams Coordination with Suppliers and Service providers QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering. +5 years of experience of handling Fabricated and Machined components in similar industry. SKILLS AND ABILITIE Good understanding of Engineering drawings & specifications. Good understanding of raw material specifications, fabrication, machining & painting process.
