Job Description

Conducting refraction by following all the steps and processes required for doing the eye test. The Optometrist must be able to effectively communicate to patients and explain their specific type of refractive error, for example, hyperopia / myopia / astigmatism / presbyopia. Primary responsibilities will include conducting site visits to hospitals, assessing feasibility for JDF support, and maintaining regular phone and email communication with senior physicians and JDF team. Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed. The Optometrist must be able to diagnose, assess, and appropriately manage ocular health conditions via slit lamp examination of the anterior eye as well as posterior eye (fundus) and assessment of retinal photographs.
