Job Summary The Oracle APEX Developer will be responsible for developing web pages/ reports in the Oracle APEX applications. Responsibilities : Works with Oracle s world class technology to develop, implement and support various tools and services to support all aspects of SaaS Engineering Operations in Oracle. Maintain existing features and support Oracle Apex related applications & reports. Design and implement user interfaces, reports, dashboards, charts, and other components using APEX features and plugins. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications, database performance, security, and integration. Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. Partner with business analysts, fellow IT resources and end users to evaluate business requirements, minimal viable product requirements, and deliver required features/functions. Collaborate with IT business units to ensure that security and architecture requirements are fulfilled. Responsible for the integration of third-party APEX Plugins and JavaScript libraries. Suggesting application design enhancements and new product features. Requirements : Bachelor s degree in information technology, Process Management or related degree or experience At least 4+ years of experience in SQL/ PL SQL, Oracle APEX. Previous experience in developing web applications using APEX, coupled with SQL and PL/SQL skills. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in Oracle APEX. Familiar with APEX features such as Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, RESTful Services, Application Items, Processes, Branches, etc. Experience in integrating APEX applications with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, etc. Experience in OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) & Oracle EBS is an added advantage. APEX Plug-in development, experience integrating REST APIs into APEX applications. Web application security / Data security Experience in using version control tools such as GitLab.
