Role Summary: Looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to be a part of the company's Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for managing databases on both cloud (AWS & GCP) and on-premises. They support and maintain several database technologies like Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server & MySQL, but Oracle being a dominant estate. So, multi database experience is required along with atleast one cloud experience preferably AWS. Key Accountabilities: Database Operational Support - providing on-call support Support application release activities. Handling day-to-day issues like user access, performance tuning, backup and recovery, standby management, migrations etc Handling incidents Design & build optimized cost-effective fault-tolerant database solutions. Handle homogenous and heterogenous database migration using golden gate, datapump, DMS, pgdump/pg_restore, logical replication, dataguard (Oracle and PostgreSQL). Develop automated solution for manual procedures. Manage databases in cloud environments such as AWS RDS (code the infrastructure with Terraform) Requirements: Experience with Oracle database as a DBA Experience in Postgres/SQL Server/Terraform/Python. Experience in managing Oracle RDS & EC2 Extensive experience with Oracle 19c, Oracle Dataguard, RMAN, any cloning software (NetApp, Delphix), RAC, Performance Tuning. Understanding of some storage technology like EBS, Netapp from database perspective. Experience in cloning and refreshing Oracle and PostgreSQL database .
