Job Description

The role involves hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and managing Oracle servers, setting up backup and recovery processes to meet RPO and RTO objectives, handling high-priority incident escalations, and performing database performance tuning. The candidate will also support database clustering, log shipping, mirroring, and replication. Proficiency in Oracle licensing policy, RAC architecture, ASM, and documentation of the database environment is required. Additionally, the role demands advisory on database design, T-SQL query optimization, and handling patch management to maintain an up-to-date inventory.
