Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description

Over 3- 11 years of experience in Oracle database implementation and administration. Proficient in Oracle tools: SQLPLUS, RMAN, OEM, Data Pump. Strong knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems. Skilled in performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, and SQLTRPT. Experience in data replication using Oracle GoldenGate. Hands-on with backup and recovery tools: RMAN, Data Pump, Rubrik. Proficient in Data Guard configuration, including switchover and failover (traditional/Flashback methods). Familiar with cloud platforms: Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Knowledgeable in database security: roles, privileges, and user/group management. Experienced in installation and configuration of OEM Agent and monitoring tools. Worked with ITSM/ticketing tools like ServiceNow. Understanding of modern IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and Agile/DevOps practices. Available for 24x7 rotational shifts supporting production, development, and test environments. Basic experience with automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible). Experience monitoring databases using Elastic and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed, diverse teams.
