Job Description

Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Clinical Assessment: Conduct detailed patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with consultants. Emergency Care: Handle paediatric emergencies, stabilize patients, and ensure timely referrals when necessary. Procedures: Perform and assist in paediatric procedures, including but not limited to vaccinations, lumbar punctures, and resuscitation. Team Collaboration: Work closely with paediatric consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes. Parent Education: Provide guidance to parents and caregivers regarding preventive care, nutrition, and treatment plans. Academic Activities: Participate in case discussions, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
