Job Summary: The Mid-Level Paralegal will support the legal professionals across various practice areas, including commercial litigation, property law, and regulatory compliance. This role involves substantive legal work under the supervision of solicitors, contributing significantly to case preparation and client service. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible. Liaise with clients, courts, and external parties to coordinate meetings and gather information. Assist in preparing briefs for counsel and court submissions. Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses. Utilize legal software for document management and time tracking. Support solicitors in trial preparation and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as a paralegal in a legal environment. Completion of a Certificate or Diploma in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Desirable Attributes: Experience in commercial litigation or property law. Familiarity with legal practice management software. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
