Job Description

The candidate should be an existing Partner in a Firm and should be willing to join CA firm to build their practice as well as should be willing to get business to them. Should have exposure to Audit & Internal Audit mainly. Tax exposure would be a plus. Qualifications 5 - 10 + years of experience as a qualified Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (5 years if you are working for a Big4 - Audit & Assurance profile looking at joining a practice or 8-10 years + if you are practicing CA at a Midsized or large firm) Effective interpersonal and communication skills Proven leadership skills demonstrating sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Experience with working independently on multiple assignments or engagements Experience with a regional or Big 4 accounting organisation Roles and Responsibilities As a Director / Partner, you will oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements. Youll closely work with the team to tackle accounting, auditing, and other issues, while using audit tools and technology. This would also require you to be involved in all stages of audit (planning, execution and reporting). We’ll also expect you to: Develop deep technical expertise around Assurance and Accounting topics Reviewing the Company's Systems And Analysing Risk, thru a system of creating Audit Programs and following a checklist approach Conducting the Audit in compliance with applicable norms & standards of Compliances of AAS, AS, SIA, IND_AS. Handling Bank Audits as per RBI norms Preparing Audit Program & Planning for Financial/Operational/Management Audits/ Due Diligence Audits. Manage the audit engagements – analysis of audit risks, Finalization, staffing, feedback and development Implement high standards of quality Lead multiple audit assignments simultaneously Anticipate engagement issues and take appropriate measures to resolve Business Development: Liasoning with Existing and New Clients (Individuals or Businesses) and Providing Financial Information and Advice. Develop new Clients, by actively making pitches, attend Workshops and make presentations at Conferences. Proactive interaction with existing Clients to cross-sell services of other divisions. Personal Qualities: Strong Audit exposure with Indian & International clients. Practice at leadership levels or Big4 background. Good at Business Development and marketing. Being a team player with Strong Relationships and ability to handle Branch office operations with an entrepreneurial approach.
