About this role: Monitor/Audit Payroll procedures and system for Americas, UK, and other assigned countries. Help review regular payroll input for ongoing accuracy and compliance. Use data and analysis to monitor and improve payroll procedures and systems. Manage projects that improve processes and/or systems. What you ll do: Perform/provide reporting and detailed analyses for detection of compliance/audit issues and other financial analysis to ensure payroll services are operating in an optimal manner Understanding of multiple complex systems including payroll processing systems, payroll tax systems, Workday and Oracle (HR, Timecards, accounting, and ledgers) Drive process improvements via automation and elimination using metrics Use data and analysis to monitor and improve payroll procedures and systems Identify and implement process standardization Understanding of multiple internal areas including HR, Legal, Treasury and Tax processes, and company initiatives to investigate and resolve issues raised or identified Resolve and respond to problems or inquiries made from associates regarding payroll services Work in close alignment with internal audit to investigate fraud and policy noncompliance Serve as backup for a variety of duties/functions in Payroll Services Train and guide new hires in both data entry processes and improvement mindset.
