Job Description

Process payroll accurately and on time keeping in mind compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations(ESIC, PF, Income Tax). Handle onboarding and exit management Payroll Management Process payroll for employees accurately and on time (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly as applicable). Maintain and update payroll records including earnings, deductions, tax withholdings, and benefits. Review and reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies. Ensure proper calculation and distribution of wages, bonuses, and other compensation. Compliance & Auditing Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations. Assist with audits, both internal and external, providing required payroll and compliance documentation. Support compliance with employee benefit plans, retirement contributions, and workers compensation. Reporting & Documentation Prepare regular payroll reports and analytics for management. Generate year-end reports, including W-2s, 1099s, and other relevant tax documents. Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee payroll data. System & Process Improvement Support implementation and upgrades of payroll software systems. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll and compliance processes. Recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
