Job Description

Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic payroll leader to independently oversee and manage the payroll function for multiple entities in the US and Canada. This role requires a proactive professional who can drive operational excellence, ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, and implement process improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities across the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations. Own payroll compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements, including payroll audits and year-end reporting. Implement and manage payroll systems and automation tools to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency. Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Legal teams to align payroll processes with broader business processes. Oversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and audits, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax payments. Manage relationships with payroll providers and regulatory agencies. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Extensive experience managing payroll for multi-entity organizations in both the US and Canada. Strong knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Experience with ADP and Namely is preferred.
