Job Title: Performance Test Engineer (LoadRunner/JMeter) Location: Coimbatore Experience Level: 3 to 7years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with hands-on experience in LoadRunner or Apache JMeter to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance test plans to ensure our applications meet high standards of scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under varying load conditions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, or both. Analyze system behavior under load and identify bottlenecks in application performance. Develop scripts and scenarios that simulate real-world usage of software applications. Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network, etc.) and correlate them with test results. Work closely with developers, DevOps, and business analysts to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. Prepare detailed test reports summarizing test execution, observations, and recommendations. Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for performance testing. Participate in capacity planning and scalability analysis. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in performance testing using LoadRunner , JMeter , or similar tools. Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, web technologies, databases, and application servers . Experience in scripting with C (LoadRunner) or Beanshell/Java (JMeter) . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Experience with APM tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with SLA/SLO definitions and performance engineering best practices. Certifications in performance testing tools (e.g., Micro Focus LoadRunner Certification) are a plus. Exposure to Selenium or other functional test tools is advantageous. Show more Show less
