Role Overview We’re hiring a Sr SDET with a focus on Performance Testing to help us ensure that our platform performs reliably under high load and remains secure as we grow. You will play a pivotal role in driving performance benchmarks, detecting bottlenecks, and identifying vulnerabilities across web and mobile platforms. You'll work closely with the product, design, and engineering teams to ensure that every feature works seamlessly for our users. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and execute performance and load tests using JMeter, Locust, and LoadRunner. Monitor and analyze system performance, scalability, and reliability in real-time and simulated environments. Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to tune backend services, databases, and APIs for optimal performance. Integrate performance test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated regression checks. Create detailed reports outlining performance metrics, findings, and recommendations. Perform exploratory and regression testing when needed, ensuring critical workflows remain intact during new releases. Own end-to-end test strategies for performance and reliability assurance. Advocate for a culture of quality, resilience, and proactive risk mitigation. Required Skills & Qualifications 4+ years of experience in performance and load testing. Hands-on expertise with JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, or similar tools. Solid understanding of performance KPIs—response time, throughput, latency, etc.—and how to analyze system behavior under load. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and infrastructure-related bottlenecks (e.g., networking, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes). Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java. Comfortable with REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. Knowledge of CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Familiar with bug tracking (e.g., JIRA) and test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent verbal and written communication. Good to Have Experience working on consumer-facing platforms or in fintech, gaming, or real-time systems. Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog, or Prometheus/Grafana. Exposure to chaos engineering or resilience testing practices. Why Join HaaNaa?
