Pharmacist

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide clear dosage instructions. Review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, allergies, or contraindications. Offer advice on the safe use of prescription and over-the-counter medications. Assist customers with inquiries regarding health, wellness, and medications. Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage medication inventories to avoid shortages or overstocking. Ensure the safe storage of medications according to regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Adhere to all pharmacy laws, including those regarding the sale of controlled medications and over-the-counter drugs. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy work area to ensure safe and efficient operations. Participate in team meetings, health promotions, and community outreach events. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D) from an accredited institution. Valid Chennai pharmacist license. Knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical regulations. Requires Passport. Should be comfortable for 24/7 shifts.
