Job Description

*Specimen Collection: 1.Drawing blood in various vacutainers and other specimen collection (e.g., urine, tissue samples) from patients. 2. Using various techniques, including venipuncture (drawing blood from a vein) and swabbing. 3. Ensuring patient comfort and safety during specimen collection. Sample Handling and Preparation: 1. Labeling and identifying specimens accurately. 2. Preparing samples for testing, which may involve centrifuging, splitting, or freezing. 3. Following established protocols for sample storage and transport. Record Keeping and Communication: 1. Maintaining accurate records of patient information and specimen collection procedures. 2. Communicating with patients about collection procedures and providing necessary instructions. 3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the laboratory and clinical settings. Other Duties: 1. Assisting with basic data entry and report preparation. 2. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. 3. Adhering to strict hygiene and safety regulations.Role & responsibilities Also the person should be willing to go for home collection Must have 2 wheeler for sample collection
