JOB DESCRIPTON JOBTITLE: Senior PHP Developer JOBTYPE: Full time INTERVIEW LOCATION: Chennai MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyse and understand the requirement from customer Develop the application as per the project plan Manage the codebase using any version control system Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges Manage a team of 2-3 developers QUALIFICATIONS: Any Bachelor / Masters degree EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4-5 years experience SKILLS: Strong knowledge in core PHP Knowledge of PHP frameworks [such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Zend] Understanding of MVC design patterns Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services CMS Frameworks [like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal] e-Commerce Framework [Magento] SKILLS (OPTIONAL): Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
