Position: PHP / Laravel Programmer Cancard Inc Location: New Delhi, India. Role Type: Full Time - 3 month contract, with possibility of extension. Cancard Inc and Advaa Health are seeking an experienced, engaged, and hands-on healthcare industry expert for the role of PHP / Laravel Programmer. This role will be pivotal in driving development, launch, and successfully commercializing an innovative portfolio of digital healthcare products for global markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel, ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Feature Implementation: Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions and implement new features. Code Quality: Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and participate in regular code reviews. Troubleshooting: Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues and optimize application performance. Collaboration: Work closely with other developers and team members using version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies. Security: Implement best practices for security and data protection across all applications. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for application architecture, codebase, and deployment processes. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continually improve your skills and the products you work on. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience with PHP and the Laravel framework in a professional setting. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized SQLqueries. Familiarity with RESTful API design and development. Strong understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality code. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) is a plus. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
