Job Responsibilities 1. Clinical Duties: Assess and treat patients using appropriate physiotherapy techniques. Supervise and guide complex rehabilitation cases. Ensure treatment plans are evidence-based and tailored to individual needs. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as needed. Maintain clinical records and ensure proper documentation. 2. Departmental Management: Lead and manage the physiotherapy department or unit. Allocate workloads and create duty rosters for physiotherapy staff. Conduct regular team meetings and case discussions. Maintain inventory and ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies. Monitor and enforce infection control and safety protocols. 3. Staff Supervision & Development: Supervise junior physiotherapists, interns, and assistants. Provide training, mentorship, and continuous education to the team. Conduct performance appraisals and recommend promotions or disciplinary actions. 4. Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals for holistic patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ward rounds. Communicate with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress. 5. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to hospital or clinic policies and regulatory standards. Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Implement standard operating procedures and best practices. 6. Administrative Tasks: Prepare departmental reports and maintain statistical data. Contribute to budgeting and planning of physiotherapy services. Liaise with management for strategic development of the department. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Schedule: Rotational shift Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: Royapettah, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
