Key Responsibilities 1. Industry & Corporate Relations Management Develop and maintain relationships with recruiters across industries. Identify new job opportunities by reaching out to potential employers. Coordinate with HR professionals and hiring managers for campus recruitment drives. Organize industry-academia interactions such as guest lectures, industry visits, and corporate tie-ups. 2. Placement Strategy & Planning Set placement targets and ensure high placement rates. Develop and implement strategies for improving student employability. Analyze past placement trends and market demand to align training programs accordingly. Maintain a database of companies, job profiles, and industry requirements. 3. Student Training & Preparation Conduct pre-placement training, including resume building, aptitude tests, mock interviews, and group discussions. Identify skill gaps and arrange relevant training programs. Organize mentorship programs by connecting students with alumni and industry experts. Guide students on career paths, job roles, and industry expectations. 4. Internship & Final Placement Coordination Organize summer internships and final placements for students. Ensure students meet the eligibility criteria for placements. Handle coordination and logistics of placement drives, including scheduling and company interactions. Resolve student concerns related to internships and placements. 5. Alumni & Employer Engagement Build and maintain strong alumni networks for placement referrals. Organize alumni meets and invite successful alumni for career guidance sessions. Gather employer feedback to improve placement training and curriculum. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed placement records, including student offers, salaries, and industry trends. Generate placement reports and share insights with management. Ensure compliance with institute policies and accreditation requirements.
