Role Summary: The Planning Engineer will be responsible for project scheduling, progress tracking, and ensuring timely execution of real estate projects. The role involves coordinating with multiple teams, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying potential risks to keep the project on track. Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures (WBS). Use Primavera P6, MS Project, or other tools to track project progress. Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions to maintain timelines. Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation. Generate weekly/monthly progress reports for senior management. Conduct trend analysis and risk assessments to ensure smooth project execution. Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to streamline planning activities. Ensure effective communication between design, procurement, and execution teams. Assist in securing necessary approvals and clearances. Cost & Resource Optimization: Support in budgeting, cost forecasting, and resource allocation. Identify areas for cost reduction and process optimization. Ensure efficient utilization of materials, manpower, and machinery. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain updated records of project schedules, delays, and variations. Ensure adherence to RERA, BMC, and other local regulatory norms. Assist in contract administration and claims management. Key Requirements:- Qualifications & Experience: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. 5 to 10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring in the real estate/construction sector. Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, AutoCAD, and ERP systems. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of project scheduling, planning techniques, and risk analysis. Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and resource management. Excellent communication and coordination skills to handle multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with construction laws, safety standards, and local regulatory guidelines.
