Strong Knowledge of Civil Engineering & High-Rise Construction: Deep understanding of construction techniques, drawings, and material requirements. Resource Management: Skilled in planning and managing labor, materials, and machinery for efficient utilization. Budgeting & Cost Control: Experience in preparing budgets, rolling plans, cost monitoring, rate analysis, and variance reporting. Contract Management & Billing: Competent in handling RA bill certification, final bill submissions, claims, and reconciliation of materials and manpower. MIS Reporting & Documentation: Ability to prepare and update Management Information System (MIS) reports and maintain project documentation rigorously. Issue Identification & Coordination: Proactive in tracking hindrances caused by inadequate drawings, front, or third-party works; supports escalation with documentary evidence. Leadership & Team Development: Capacity to mentor and develop subordinates in billing, material management, and site coordination. Analytical Skills: Strong in monitoring project progress, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing corrective actions. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ Project Planning and Control Engineer Role Overview Position: Project Planning and Control Engineer Division: Buildings & Factories (B&F) Location: Pan-India Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth study of tender documents to fully understand project requirements. Plan project execution in consultation with site in-charge, preparing bar charts with detailed labor, material, and machinery resources. Support PMG team with budgeting inputs, rolling plans, and cost control reports. Prepare detailed monthly plans breaking down activities and resource requirements. Monitor and report project progress against monthly and overall plans. Ensure withdrawal of all superseded drawings from site staff. Prepare and provide all relevant MIS reports as per company standards. Track hindrances due to inadequate drawings, front, or other agency delays and provide documentary support for escalation. Perform regular reconciliation of materials and manpower, preparing variance reports. Calculate quantities for finishing items, perform rate analysis for extras, and certify RA bills with clients and consultants. Manage final bill submissions, including reconciliation, claims settlement, labor bill compilation, and transferring records to regional offices. Update IPMS regularly for the site. Qualifications & Experience Educational Qualifications: B.E. Civil Engineering Advanced Construction Management (NICMAR) PGD in Construction/Business Management preferred Experience: 15 to 20 years in high-rise building projects Strong background in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, billing, and site coordination Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project (MPS) scheduling tools Show more Show less
