Job Description : Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement detailed production plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning to meet production targets and deadlines. Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process, identifying and addressing quality issues to ensure product consistency. Cost Management: Monitor production costs, identify areas for cost optimization, and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, including supervisors and operators, providing training and performance feedback. Performance Monitoring: Regularly track production metrics (e.g., output, scrap rate, cycle time) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the production area, promoting a safe working environment. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance production efficiency. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments like engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to streamline production processes and resolve issues.
