Job Summary: The Plant Manager will be responsible for optimizing dye processes. The role requires a strong understanding of dye chemistry, and the ability to work with Dyers & helping staff to assign daily tasks & optimum work load. Job Description Role & Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for overall dyeing operations including improvement in existing dyeing processes for better efficiency, lower costs. 2. Develop and refine dyeing processes to ensure consistency and efficiency in colour application while minimizing waste and defects. 3. Responsible for ensuring efficient production planning, quality control, and maintenance. 4. Collaborate with Senior Management on strategic plans. Collaborate with Production team to implement dyeing lots on large scales, ensuring feasibility, cost-efficiency, and adherence to production schedules. 5. Conduct performance reviews and adjust to meet production targets. 6. Prepare and manage the plants budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with goals. 7. Monitor and control operational expenses. 8. Liaise with suppliers/ vendors for the factory equipment. 9. Manage SCM Operations, including inventory management, supply chain optimization. 10. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives through effective communication and collaboration. 11. Ensure dyeing processes and chemical handling comply with industry environmental and safety regulations 12. Prepare and maintain periodic MIS Reports and submit to management. Educational Qualification : B. Tech /B.E. in Textile , Min 14+ Years of experience into Production & Supply Chain Management with min. 10+ yrs. as Plant / Operations Head in Textile Dyeing Unit. Work Experience & Skills: Strong understanding of PPC (Production Planning & Control), Change Management, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Supply Planning, Production Planning & Control principles. Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise. Proven track record of improving operational efficiency by implementing process improvements initiatives. Strong background in working with different dyeing techniques and textile. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in dye chemistry and its application to textile fibres. - Knowledge of dyeing machinery - Expertise in colour theory and colour matching techniques. - Ability to resolve issues related to dye design and application.
