(almedlab.com) Location: Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, India Website: www.almedlab.com About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at our thermoforming facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant management, particularly within the food-grade plastic packaging sector, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient production of dairy packaging products. Manage thermoforming processes using food-grade plastics (e.g., PP, PET, PS). Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, BRC, and ISO 22000. Implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize productivity. Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to drive innovation in sustainable packaging solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; MBA is a plus. 8–12 years of experience in plastic packaging manufacturing, preferably in the dairy or food & beverage sector. Proficiency with thermoforming machinery (e.g., Illig, Kiefel, GN Thermoforming). Strong leadership skills and a track record of successful plant management.
