Role & responsibilities Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer demands. Optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery. Ensure workplace safety, hazard identification, and risk assessment. Implement EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends. Resilience in managing operational changes and driving process improvements. Open to feedback and innovation. Strong focus on achieving production efficiency and cost optimization. Commitment to meeting deadlines and operational targets. Ability to work under tight schedules and manage multiple priorities. Preferred candidate profile Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of ink/chemical manufacturing processes Understanding of quality control & regulatory compliance Expertise in production planning & process improvement Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production tracking Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Education: B.E./B.Tech (Chemical/Mechanical) or M.Sc. (Chemistry) Experience: 10-15 years in ink/paint/coating/chemical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
