Platform Performance Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud Performance Engineer to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based systems and services. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the performance of cloud infrastructure and applications running in AWS, Azure, or GCP. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud environments, performance engineering practices, and modern observability tools. Responsibilities Monitor and analyze system performance metrics across cloud infrastructure and applications. Design and execute performance tests (load, stress, endurance, scalability, etc.) for cloud-based applications. Identify performance bottlenecks at infrastructure, network, application, and database layers. Recommend and implement tuning and optimization strategies for cloud resources (compute, storage, networking). Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve application performance and stability. Establish and maintain performance baselines and KPIs for critical services. Implement observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, New Relic, etc. Drive automation of performance testing and reporting using CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to capacity planning and right-sizing initiatives Experience range : 5- 7 years B.E./ ME (CS/EE) / MCA/Graduate or equivalent higher-level degree
