Job Title : Instructor Honeycomb School of Creative Studies (Pottery Making) Location :Bangalore Job Type : [Part-Time/Contract] Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pottery Making Instructor to teach our students the art and technique of Pottery making. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of various pottery making techniques, creativity, and experience in hand building and wheel throwing . Artistic skills with a focus on pottery, sculpture, or related crafts. The Pottery Making Instructor will be responsible for creating and delivering instructional content, providing hands-on guidance, and helping students develop the technical and creative skills needed to succeed in the Pottery making industry. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development : Design and develop a comprehensive Pottery Making curriculum that covers industry-standard tools, techniques, and best practices. Instruction : Teach and facilitate engaging Pottery Making lessons to students, ensuring that content is understandable and accessible for all learning levels. Hands-on Training : Provide practical exercises and projects to help students apply theory to practice. Feedback and Evaluation : Review and provide constructive feedback on student projects, assignments, and progress. Student Support : Offer guidance to students, helping them overcome challenges, enhancing their crafting skills, and nurturing their creative abilities. Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Pottery Making to ensure the curriculum remains relevant. Assessments : Administer quizzes, assignments, and projects that evaluate students’ understanding and their abilities in pottery making. Collaboration : Work closely with other instructors and department staff to create an inclusive and productive learning environment. Encourage Creativity : Inspire students to think creatively and push their limits, helping them develop a unique style and vision in their Pottery Making . Qualifications and Skills: Experience : Experience in pottery making. Creativity : Strong understanding of design and artistic vision, patterns, textures and carving techniques. Communication Skills : Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively to students with varying levels of experience. Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with precision and focus.
