Power Platform Developer Job Description Skills and Technical Competencies: Programming Languages: Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Understanding of SAP scripting and Visual Basic (VB) is desirable. A base understanding of Python is also required. Technologies/Tools: Experience with HTML, web application development, and SQL Server. Cloud: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure PaaS and Power Platform fundamentals. Identity & Access Management: Knowledge of AD, Azure AD, and application functionality such as SSO and RBAC. DevOps: Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools. Agile Practices: Knowledge of Agile practices and processes. Best Practices: Define and enforce best practices, design/coding standards to improve the quality of deliverables, and ensure compliance with defined reference architecture and engineering prescriptions. Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with users.
