Job Title: Powertrain Engineer - Electric Vehicle (EV) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Powertrain Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing innovative Electric Vehicle (EV) powertrain systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with expertise in motor, controller, and Battery Management System (BMS) integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for performance simulations, optimization, and hands-on experience with industry-leading software tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys, and AVL Cruise. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Design and develop EV powertrain systems, including motor, controller, and BMS integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of powertrain components. Performance Simulations and Optimization: Develop and run performance simulations using MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys, and AVL Cruise. Analyze simulation results and optimize powertrain performance, efficiency, and reliability. Electrical and Mechanical Interfacing: Ensure proper electrical and mechanical interfacing between powertrain components. Develop and implement interface specifications and testing protocols. Testing and Validation: Develop and execute testing plans to validate powertrain performance and reliability. Collaborate with testing teams to ensure successful testing and validation. Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Communicate technical information to cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and testing. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 1-5 years of experience in powertrain engineering, preferably in the EV industry. Proven track record of designing and developing EV powertrain systems. Strong grasp of electrical and mechanical engineering principles. Expertise in motor, controller, and BMS integration. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys, and AVL Cruise.
