Job Title: Production, Planning & Control (PPC) for INTEGRATED PV Manufacturing Plant Designation: Manager Education Bachelor of Engineering (Any discipline) Desirable: MBA Experience: More than 10-12 years , in which more than 5 years of experience at leading position in PPC of medium/large industrial projects (Preferably green field projects of Solar PV Manufacturing / electronic manufacturing / Process / Chemical industries) Location: Ramayapatnam (Nellore District), Near Kavali city, Andhra Pradesh, India Job Purpose PPC will be ideally responsible for the development and implementation of production plans and schedules to meet business objectives. He/She will coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations, to optimize resource allocation (materials, manpower, and machinery) for maximum efficiency, to monitor production progress, analyze performance data, and resolve bottlenecks and to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Key responsibilities of PPC: Production Scheduling & Planning : To strategically develop and oversee production schedules in alignment with demand forecasts to optimize resource allocation, ensure timely output, and maintain efficiency across operations. Inventory Management : To drive inventory optimization to strike an ideal balance between material availability and cost control, effectively minimizing excess stock and shortages to enhance overall production flow. Capacity Utilization : To conduct comprehensive capacity analyses to maximize production throughput, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and minimizing downtime for greater operational efficiency. Process Improvement : To be a champion in the implementation of lean manufacturing practices that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and reduce waste, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Coordination : To facilitate seamless collaboration with procurement, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to align production activities with broader organizational objectives and customer needs. Data Analysis & Reporting : To track and analyze critical performance metrics, compile insightful reports, and leverage data-driven insights to support continuous operational improvements and strategic planning. Budget & Cost Control : To effectively manage production expenses within budgetary limits, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures to maximize financial performance and resource efficiency. To spearheaded the implementation of the SAP PP module in collaboration with the SAP/IT/Digital transformation team, driving enhanced production planning capabilities and seamless system integration.
