Job Description: As a Tableau Presales/Solution Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of Tableau solutions by engaging with prospects and customers to understand their needs, demonstrate Tableau's capabilities, and deliver compelling, value-driven solutions. You will act as a bridge between the sales team and technical teams, ensuring customers realize the full potential of Tableau's analytics offerings. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement o Partner with Account Executives to understand customer requirements. o Conduct discovery sessions to identify pain points, business needs, and analytics goals. o Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various levels of the organization. Solution Design and Demonstration o Create and deliver tailored product demonstrations showcasing Tableau’s capabilities. o Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) based on customer requirements. o Highlight key features like data visualization, dashboards, and advanced analytics during presentations. Technical Expertise o Stay up-to-date with Tableau’s product roadmap and ecosystem. o Provide deep technical guidance on data integration, data prep, and analytics best practices. o Address technical objections and ensure smooth integration with existing systems. Collaboration o Work closely with product management, engineering, and customer success teams. o Provide feedback on customer needs to influence product enhancements. o Collaborate on RFP/RFI responses and create technical documentation for proposals. Thought Leadership o Conduct webinars, workshops, and seminars to educate potential clients. o Represent the company at industry events and conferences. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Experience: o 3+ years in presales, solutions consulting, or related roles. o Hands-on experience with Tableau or other BI/analytics platforms. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard creation. o Understanding of SQL, data modeling, and database technologies. o Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Soft Skills: o Strong presentation and communication skills. o Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. o Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
