Role Description The Pre-Sales Network Security Engineer plays a critical role in delivering cuttingedge security solutions, ensuring organizations safeguard their network infrastructure. This position requires deep technical expertise, strategic solution design, and exceptional communication skills to engage clients, develop comprehensive security architectures, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will specialize in Gateway Security, SD-WAN, and Advanced Threat Protection, ensuring enterprises maintain robust security postures and seamless connectivity. Qualifications Network Security Architecture & Solution Design Develop and implement end-to-end security solutions, incorporating Gateway Security, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust Architecture. Design High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for secure, scalable deployments. Deploy Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), SIEM, and secure web gateways. Optimize network performance while maintaining high-level security protections. Security Automation & Threat intelligence Utilize AI-driven security automation for proactive threat detection and remediation. Implement behavioral analytics, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and advanced threat hunting techniques. Integrate SOC & SIEM platforms for real-time monitoring and incident response. Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies. Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation Develop precise BOQs and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and cost effectiveness. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing details for hardware, software, and services. Align BOQs with company pricing guidelines and policies. Technical Proposal Creation Draft clear, concise, and compelling technical proposals, tailored to client requirements. Assist the sales team in preparing RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, offering technical insights and solution recommendations. Present solutions and design approaches to clients, addressing technical concerns effectively. Pre-Sales Support Conduct technical assessments, site surveys, and needs analysis to recommend optimal solutions. Provide technical support during client meetings, demonstrating deep product knowledge. Assist in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and product demonstrations to showcase solution effectiveness. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, product management) to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Technical Documentation Prepare and maintain solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation. Ensure documentation adheres to internal standards and compliance requirements. Qualification and Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). ✅ Experience: 5-9 years in network security, pre-sales engineering, solution design, and BOQ preparation. Extensive expertise in Gateway Security, SD-WAN, NGFWs, IPS, endpoint security, and cloud-based security solutions. Experience working with leading security platforms and network vendors.
