Job Description Senior Principal Consultant Presales Workday Solution Architect Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Principal Consultant – Presales Workday Solution Architect who will collaborate with HR business teams to configure, maintain, and enhance Workday implementations. This role involves partnering with potential clients , conducting product demonstrations, and providing strategic solutions tailored to business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday HCM and ERP functions , excellent presentation skills, and a deep understanding of value-based selling in a presales or consulting environment. Key Responsibilities: Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and challenges . Demonstrate the features and capabilities of Workday’s software solutions . Utilize problem-solving skills to address client concerns and craft innovative solutions. Apply value-based selling approaches in a presales or sales consulting environment. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations . Provide technical guidance and respond to client inquiries regarding Workday solutions. Assist in proposal preparation, statements of work, and sales documentation . Conduct product evaluations and proof-of-concepts to showcase the value of Workday solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscapes to effectively position Workday’s offerings. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders , including customers and partners. Support the sales team in closing deals and achieving sales targets . Qualifications & Skills: Minimum Requirements: Domain expertise in Workday HCM and experience across ERP functions. Strong presentation skills , including software demonstration techniques, sales messaging, and storytelling . Strong technical and industry knowledge to support solutioning and problem-solving. Preferred Skills: Pre-sales / Consulting experience with Workday HCM enterprise business solutions. Proven experience in storytelling, business communication, and stakeholder engagement . Strong business acumen, negotiation, and presentation skills .
