Commercial Purpose of the role This role centers on product management, with a strong emphasis on Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making in sales and category management It involves developing and refining interactive dashboards, automated reporting systems, and data models to convert complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategy and execution By integrating data from Nielsen, Kantar, and other country-level sources, the role ensures seamless visualization and real-time reporting through Power BI, while advanced Excel supports in-depth analysis and scenario planning SQL is utilized as needed for data extraction and transformation, Collaboration with key stakeholders is essential, shaping category strategies, performance tracking frameworks, and growth initiatives through dynamic insights Additionally, the role is responsible for managing and enhancing category reporting solutions, continuously improving analytics capabilities to support global leadership and business objectives, Key tasks & accountabilities Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, leveraging DAX queries and advanced data modeling to create dynamic, interactive visualizations for sales and category management, Enhance Power BI reporting solutions by integrating automated workflows, ensuring seamless data connectivity, and improving user experience for stakeholders, Utilize Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel to conduct comprehensive analysis of sales and category data from sources such as Nielsen, Kantar, and other regional providers, Take full ownership of the data collection process, ensuring the accurate aggregation, validation, and maintenance of data from diverse sources for analysis, Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for category management, Develop prescriptive models and analyses to support informed decision-making and strategy development, Create compelling data visualizations and narratives in Power BI to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, Drive product management initiatives by overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of data-driven solutions that support business objectives, Design and deliver impactful presentations showcasing key data-driven recommendations, Produce detailed, high-quality reports for global leadership, Directors, CXOs, and other principal stakeholders, Detect and interpret trends, patterns, and areas for growth through meticulous data examination and advanced tools, Engage with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives, aligning insights with organizational goals, Contribute to strategy development by providing empirical, data-backed insights, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommended strategies and actions effectively, Oversee the entire data analysis and reporting workflow, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reliability, Maintain accountability for the quality and impact of insights and recommendations provided, Continuously monitor sales and category data to assess the performance and effectiveness of implemented strategies, Identify opportunities for optimization and consistently propose actionable improvements, Power BI: Expertise in PowerBI for creating interactive reports and dashboards, understanding DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and connecting to various data sources Data Integration: Ability to integrate data from various sources using SQL and visualize it in PowerBI to derive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions, Advanced Excel: Proficiency in using complex functions, macros, and data visualization tools within Excel to analyze and present data effectively, SQL: Strong command over SQL for querying databases, manipulating data, and performing complex joins and subqueries to extract meaningful insights Qualifications, Experience, Skills Level Of Educational Attainment Required Bachelor or Post-Graduate in the field of Business & Marketing, Engineering/Solution, or other equivalent degree or equivalent work experience, MBA/Engineering in a relevant technical field such as Marketing/Finance, Previous Work Experience 5-8 years of experience in the Retail/CPG domain SQL/Python experience will be preferable, Technical Skills Required Proficient in Power BI, Advanced MS Excel (Pivots, calculated fields, Conditional formatting, charts, dropdown lists, etc ), MS PowerPoint SQL & Python, Other Skills Required Extensive experience solving business problems using quantitative approaches Comfort with extracting, manipulating, and analyzing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from varying sources And above all of this,
