Hiring for Principal Associate in International Trade (Advisory) team at Delhi location Job Profile: Are you an international trade attorney who gets excited about supply chain disruptions, non-tariff barriers, and free trade agreements and thrives on decoding complex regulations? Who you are: You have 5-6 years of experience in international trade law. You learn fast – new regulations don’t scare you; they excite you. A self-starter – you don’t wait for instructions; you are already two steps ahead You consume trade news – have a few subscriptions (free or otherwise) that you love to read and are happy sharing insights You write – you read, absorb, synthesize, draw a macro picture, and your next instinct is to explain it to a 5-year-old. You don’t just talk about global trade! You are a team player – you don’t just get along; you can build a team and hold the players together. What you will do: Advise clients on ever-changing trade policies Connect the dots between regulatory risks, business risks, and geopolitics Handle diverse subjects: Sanctions and Export Controls, Government Procurement, CBAM, BIS, ESG, other supply chain-related regulations and market access issues Develop and mentor colleagues in specialized areas Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas, support senior partners, and provide support in firm-level initiatives Deliver impactful work and build relationships Occasionally travel Show more Show less
