JD for Principal Engineer Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions for the cooperative banking sector. • Act as a technical authority, providing expertise in system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and technical roadmaps. • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and efficient software solutions that align with business objectives. • Drive innovation by researching and implementing emerging technologies and best practices. • Optimize development processes, tools, and methodologies for continuous improvement. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in large-scale distributed systems. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, ensuring technology adoption that enhances system capabilities. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of core development experience in the fintech industry or a mid-sized company. • Expertise in system architecture, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and microservices. • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, and JavaScript. • Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and mobile app development (iOS, Android) is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and implement scalable solutions. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
