Description for Internal Candidates JD Physical design engineer is expected to take a digital design block through all phases of the block development process from RTL2GDS, including synthesis, design for test (dft), place & route, extraction, timing signoff and physical verification Also, it would be required to execute logical equivalence checks and low power signoff along with voltage drop simulation for static and dynamic vector conditions and power analysis He/She is supposed to use leading EDA tools to implement these tasks and is proficient in scripting languages like tcl, perl, python etc to help then in automating these tasks
