Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Staff Engineer to lead Zapcom Innovation Labs . This is a high-impact engineering leadership role where you will: -Define and drive the technical vision & roadmap for AI-driven, data-intensive products. -Architect scalable, cost-effective, and high-performance solutions in Data, AI, and Agentic technologies -Mentor, guide, and inspire a team of exceptional engineers in cutting-edge tech -Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to transform ideas into real-world solutions -Be the face of innovation at ZapCom \u2013 sharing insights in tech forums, leading R&D efforts, and influencing the AI strategy Key Responsibilities: -Technology Leadership: Own and drive Innovation Labs initiatives in Data Engineering, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions -Architecture & Product Building: Design, prototype, and build highly scalable, AI-driven data platforms & solutions -Mentorship & Team Building: Lead, mentor, and level up a team of high-performing engineers -Hands-on Expertise: Dive deep into AI-driven architectures, real-time data processing, LLM Ops, vector databases, and automation frameworks -Industry Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing the latest trends in AI, Data Engineering, and agentic workflows Ideal Candidate Profile: -12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in AI/Data-focused leadership roles -Strong background in Data Engineering, Generative AI, and Agentic AI architectures -Deep expertise in LLMs, LangChain, RAG architectures, Graph Databases, Vector Databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and AI APIs -Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and MLOps/LLMOps frameworks -Strong software engineering fundamentals with Python, Java, or Go -Experience in building AI-native applications, including Autonomous Agents, Copilots, and Multi-modal AI solutions -A proven mentor and team leader who thrives in solving ambiguous, high-scale engineering challenges
