Role & responsibilities Project safety lead discipline engineering activities/deliverables developments such as HSE/Process safety Philosophy, Fire and Gas Detection layouts, Active & Passive Fire Protection Systems, Hazardous area classification requirement in Basic, FEED & Detail Engineering design of Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas onshore/offshore process Plants. Process Safety Lead engineering activities for specifying the safety and Loss Prevention Requirements, Carrying out Safety Reviews & Process Hazard Analysis Studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZAN (Consequence analysis) and Risk Analysis /Assessment, HSE/safety CASE Development, HSEIA). Well experienced in Process Plant operation & stabilization, safe start up and shutdown activities, handling of plant trouble shootings and commissioning activities. Also well versed with technical services activities for process safety issues, Project Engineering, vendor co-ordination, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities. Process safety incident reporting/evaluation and investigation. Preparation of process safety equipment Data sheet, specification, RFQ documents, Scope of work development for safety engineering studies. Technical Bid Analysis and Vendor Document Review. Proposal preparation, Vendor Evaluation. Familiar with review of software input and output and modelling work. Overall Engineering and vendor coordination, developmental activities, and other Project functions. Conversant with various NFPA, API standards, IEC, IP, Shell Standards, OISD standards, GAP Guidelines. Facilitation of and participation in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and other risk management workshops. Providing leadership and quality assurance for deliverables to clients. Demonstrated strong skills in one or more of the following: Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA). Integrating process safety within the design process and/or operating practices PHA facilitation (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SILA, etc.) Consequence and frequency analyses Fault / Event Tree Analysis Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA). Authoring Safety Cases, including ALARP demonstrations Bow Tie Analysis Fire & Explosion Analysis. Fire Protection related studies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide advice on technical issues both externally and internally. Adaptable to changing working hour requirements as needed to accommodate project work and client needs in other time zones. The above responsibilities are in brief but not limited to it & other task may be given as per the business requirements Preferred candidate profile Experience 6 to 8 Years experience in Oil and Gas, Chemicals in EPC or Consultant Companies Education BE Chemical or Environmental Engineering
