Job Summary: The Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials and equipment for solar power projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure materials for solar projects (solar panels, inverters, cables, etc.). Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure best prices, quality, and delivery timelines. Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost optimization. Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. Maintain procurement records and prepare regular reports. Address procurement-related issues and risks proactively to avoid project delays. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.). 2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Familiarity with procurement software and SAP.
